Crawley vs Stockport

League Two

Crawley Town is poised to chase a third consecutive triumph as they confront Stockport County at Broadfield Stadium in Monday's League Two encounter.

In contrast, Stockport County, in pursuit of promotion, aims to secure all three points after winning just one of their last six matches. Meanwhile, Crawley is currently riding a wave of success, triumphing in five of their last six matches, notably defeating Harrogate Town and Notts County in their most recent outings.

Overcoming a 1-0 deficit in both their away match against Harrogate and their home clash with Notts County, Scott Lindsey's squad demonstrated resilience, clinching victories through goals from Klaidi Lolos and Ade Adeyemo, capitalizing on Scott Robertson's expulsion.

Sitting in 10th place after Saturday's fixtures, Crawley is just two points shy of the playoffs with three games in hand over seventh-placed AFC Wimbledon. Another home league win on Monday would see them climb into playoff contention for the second time this season.

Despite Stockport's recent struggles, they've managed to avoid defeat in their last four matches, including a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Salford City, with goals from Ibou Touray and Isaac Olaofe. Dave Challinor's side, with 67 points from 36 matches, currently holds a goal difference advantage over Wrexham and MK Dons but trails leaders Mansfield Town by five points.

However, Stockport's hopes of victory may be tempered by their lackluster away form, having won just two of their last nine away league games. Crawley, though, still faces challenges with key players like Ben Gladwin, Dion Conroy, and Liam Kelly sidelined due to injuries.

Possible lineup for Crawley Town:

Addai; Maguire, Mukena, Wright; Gordon, Williams, Lolos, Forster; Darcy, Campbell; Orsi

Possible lineup for Stockport County:

Hinchliffe; Kane, Horsfall, Pye, Touray; Lemonheigh-Evans, Camps, Sarcevic, Madden; Wootton, Olaofe

Additionally, Stockport may be without several players, including Macauley Southam-Hales, Akil Wright, Will Collar, Ryan Croasdale, and Louie Barry, due to injury concerns, while full-back Ethan Bristow is likely to miss the trip to West Sussex after being forced off against Salford.
