Chelsea and Brentford have both not had a win in a while they have both in the last 5 games has 3 losses and 2 draws, will this game finally allow one of them to get a win?
Chelsea is currently sitting at 11th place on the table with 39 points sitting between Brentford (10th) and Crystal Palace (12th). While Brentford is at 10th with 44 points between Fulham United (9th) and Chelsea (11th).
Chelsea is still waiting for a win since bringing back Frank Lampard as their interim coach, who replaced Graham Potter at the begging of April after a humiliating loss against Liverpool. Frank Lampard was brough in to to try and bring Chelsea back up the league table but however it hasn’t seemed to change as much as was hoped, so the question remains of how Chelsea need to improve maybe it wasn’t a management problem but another underlying cause, or will this game change Chelsea’s fate and result in a win.
Chelsea will be without Kalidou Koulibaly and Armando Broja due to their respective injuries. However they will be having back 6 players who were either out on bans or were unable to play against their Mother Clubs. While Brentford will be without Pontus Jansson, Kristoffer Ajer and Keane Lewis-Potter who are all out on lower body injuries. Also possible unable to play will be Christian Norgaard who is likely to be injured quickly.
