Arsenal 2 West Ham 2

Arsenal lost huge points in the Premier league table race, and ended with yet again another avoidable draw.

It was almost like Deja vu, Arsenal started strong against West Ham, Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard, scored 2 goals within the first 10 minutes, however the games fate would end up like their previous game against Liverpool just 7 days ago.

So how did Arsenal let the game go into shambles?

How was it possible that such a recently strong team could make the same mistake twice and cost themselves points during this crucial time? After Bukayo Saka missed a penalty which could have easily brought them up to 3 goals, it all went downhill. Arsenal seemed to loose purpose and lost their confidence, they stopped doing the simple things well, unlike all season where they have been focused and diligent. Westham was given hope, a terrible penalty and arsenal let the game slip from their grip.

Despite all this Arsenal is still clear and on top of the table with 74 points and a 4 point lead. There is still high hope, Arsenal have played extremally well all season, and are pushing hard to bring the title home. The last time Arsenal won the Premier League title was in 2003/04 with no losses the whole league.

In less than 10 days Arsenal will go against Man City in their most anticipated game of the season, will they use these last 2 games as motivation or will it deter them.

Only time will tell the fate of Arsenal this season.
